love

soooo...it's our anniversary in a couple of days
5 years married
although we've been together
even longer
in some ways it feels like
a totally different lifetime ago
and in others it's just
the blink
of an
eye

I'm the kind of person
who would always change things
when I look back and see
where I could have done better
or smarter or sooner
if I could
so instead I will look ahead
and try to do better and be
smarter sooner
and work harder
so that when we look back in
another 5 years
we'll think how this is the
best time of our lives
so far
